This treasure comes from my own personal stash. I know I bought (at least) a half dozen of these sets, back in the day, even though I was not a collector -but this is the only one I found. Though it’s a very nice set, it isn’t something that I honestly can fully appreciate so...it’s time for a new (more caring) home.

The winner of this auction will receive one (1) 1992 ‘Canada 125’ commemorative collector’s set - in original Royal Canadian Mint packaging. This set was released in 1992(ish) to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Canada’s confederation. The set contains twelve (12) uncirculated 25 cent (quarter) coins - one for each of Canada’s 10 ten provinces and (at the time) 2 territories and one (1) uncirculated dollar (loonie) coin.

For the dollar coin, the metal composition is aureate bronze-plated on nickel; diameter: 26.72mm; weight: 7.0 grams; the 25 cent coin metal composition is .999 nickel;; diameter: 23.88mm; weight: 5.10 grams. Mintage for these sets was 448,000.

Thank you for your kind sentiment. :-) It's definitely going to be more than standard mail rate, but it's just too much of a hassle to charge for the shipping. Then there's the fees involved for the payment...too many people skimming too much in my books. I'm thinking (hoping) the value of the extra postage costs will end up reflected in the winning bid. ;-)
