Up for auction is (1) SILVER Australian Sixpence coin, dated 1956.

There were only 7,904,000 of these coins ever minted (A very low mintage, believe it or not!) And was struck at the Melbourne Mint in Australia.

One side features A young Queen Elizabeth II, and the opposite side features a floral arrangement.

It measures 1.4in. diameter, and is in very good condition.

According to my research, the '56 sixpence is 19mm, which would make it the same size as a canadian penny. Your listing say it's 1.4in. diameter, which would be larger than a US quarter. Can you clarify the size of your coin please?
