Description

The listing, Jewelry Lot L@@K (12 in all) two are 925 has ended.

There are Eight rings, 3 pendants, a pair of earrings.. (not new fashion items, they were worn by my mother inlaw). Two of the rings are marked 925, one is also marked STERLING.

1. the first one - with green stone is marked STERLING and 925 size 6
2. this one was made by Johorheez (hope I spelled it right) they are in india and work with precious metal and jewels. I bought it from there, size 8. Opal marked 925
3. this piece looks like silver but not marked size 9 - see respective photos
4. this ring also looks like sterling silver but cant make out the markings. looks like marcasite accents surrounding an amber orangey colored stone size 8
5. fashion ring with large blue stone size 7.5
6. this one says made in china, is also warn off gold plated but I still just love the zirconia diamond layout..very pretty size 10
7. size 8 adjustable fashion ring with large floral design and white center ..says made in China
8. this ring also has wear but the pink stone is just gorgeous...can also be repurposed. size 8
9. silver toned fashion clip on earrings
10. gold toned fashion pendant with faux pearl tear drop
11. cute silver toned charm or pendant
12. gone toned pendant with green stone and many accent diamonds. Could be gold plated, not sure.

that's horrible!! im new here...but so far so good. I know when i was on ebay i sent out a gorgeous over $100 figurine from Europe that someone won for $40..and i shipping it out to them ahead of time, waiting for their shipping and the $40...and they kept it and never paid a dime!! i know..stupid you would say on my part, but i was doing what i felt was a kind thing for someone i didn't even know..,. and she was an owner of a cigar shop in Chicago i found out later. Some nice woman huh?

Honestly daully you have not been on Listia that long... you haven't really experienced the way Listia can work... if you are tired of paying shipping cost to not get the item then only bid on auctions that have free shipping.. if you don't receive the item then Listia will give you your credits back. I have been doing Listia for a little over 2 years now and most sellers on here are honest. Also when you bid on an auction look at the person's feedback.. those with good feedback are going to be more reliable sellers until you get established on here. Please give it more of a chance daully. Welcome to Listia hha777. This is a very nice auction for just starting out :) ... Just remember Listia is what you make of it! I have really gotten some awesome items on here from awesome sellers, and have had awesome bidders as well

i have a question... do you tell people to specify in paypal that the money is for shipping? the reason i ask is for tax concerns. It keeps popping up in my mind as to how to handle all that. I guess just keep our receipts for seven years? =)

yes I ask people to specify that it is for shipping and also ask them to copy and past the Listia auction that it is for.. that way its a record of what the money is for plus it is also a record if there was to be a dispute... another word of advice is to ALWAYS use tracking... that is the only way in a dispute that Listia will let you keep your credits if the bidder says they haven't received the item.. if tracking shows that the item was delivered then Listia will take your side and let you keep the credits.

extremely helpful!!!! THANK YOU =) - I kept getting a postal worker at the post office saying i can only get tracking if i do priority... well one day last week another worker said no way, if you pay just $1.05 more beyond parcel $2.32, (under 13 ounces) you get tracking...phew..so thats great to know! then over that amount it jumpts to higher amount..bjut then i got for small flat rate priority box if its not liquid... learning as i go! thanks so much =)

I buy and sell vintage sterling, ship it nationwide as well as all over the world.... international shipping is better to go to the post office. Domestic is great through Paypal... all you have to do is go to First Class where is says 2 to 5 days... then click on thick envelope/small package. As long as its under 13 oz you can ship that way... and my experience it takes alot of jewelry to get over 13 oz. Shipping and tracking is $1.93 on Paypal.... I charge $2.25 because of Paypal fees... that is what it takes to get the amount needed after fees :)

well now you know LOL.... plus it is so easy to print your label, go out to the mail box put the flag up... there isn't the added expense of gas to go to the post office :)

you are so very welcome.... I try to help whoever I can... I even make comments on auctions if I think the info may help the auction get more bids... I have some knowledge of sterling so I share it hopefully to benefit the person having the auction... this time it was info on how to ship cheaper and better... also as far as packaging these rings... I would ship them in separate baggies.. then wrap them in bubble wrap, put them inside a bubble envelope... I have done many pieces this way to arrive safely... even to England and Canada :)

absolutely helpful!!! =) .. i am selling an onyx sterling piece...and there was a guy selling these for 35 yrs really helping me on my auction because i was saying my kit shows its not 925...when my husband paid $300 for his mom years ago (never did that for me lol) but the guy said the piece seriously looks like it was native american style, intricate and done by an elder and that i probably did the testing wrong because he would bet ALL of his merchandise that i was doing the test wrong!! haha...go look at the auction, it is still on... its for Onyx 925 bangle bracelet... =)

the separate baggies prevent them from rubbing against each other during shipping
