Description

The listing, I SPY Cotton QUILT Top CHEATER Fabric PANEL by Cranston Print Works has ended.

Up for bid is a Dreamspinners "I SPY" cheater quilt panel, with which to make a toddler's quilt!

Panel features hexagons with kids toys and animals in an I Spy pattern. There are also item names in the border that surround the hexagons. Each hexagon measures approximately 3" tall and 3½" wide.

All you need to do is add a backing, and some batting (or a piece of flannel), and quilt along the lines (or you can tie it if you don't want to machine / hand quilt). Add a binding, and you are done!

Panel itself measures 36" x 44". And if you want to make it larger, you can just add some colorful borders!

If you hand or machine quilt, it will look like you pieced all those small pieces! Add an I Spy book, and you've got a memorable gift for some lucky child!

I've added an address to pictures of the whole top, because I only have access to a scanner, and I thought you might like to see what the whole top looks like. You will have to cut and paste the address (not sure how to or if an actual link is allowed on here).

Well, if you cut it in half, it would be 18" x 22". I don't know if that's a size you could work with or not... Just depends on the size you want the pillows to be. And you would lose part of the design to seaming, if it were cut in half. Not sure it would work for pillows, but you would know better than I how you want them to be. :)

It would be 18 x 44 or 22 x 36. Traceypalmer -- I gave the wrong dimensions to your question of cutting in half. :)

I am trying to win for my nephew. My sister (his Mother) passed away suddenly when he was 6 months old. So our Mother and my other two sisters try to help his father with clothing and learning toys. I am the only one that quilts and thought this would be a wonderful learning tool plus a snuggle blanket.
