Who is élan?
The artist élan began developing his creative persona and body of work in post-punk Boston during the early-1980s, primarily as a graffiti artist.
After stints with community theatre, political activism, urban guerrilla art, and writing, he has settled in Brooklyn, NY.
Having developed an interest in philately, he has coupled his long-held love of naïve, folk, and outsider art with historical postal items.
