This is a power case for your galaxy s3. It basically is an extra battery for your phone. You put it on your phone when your battery is about to go out and you turn this on the charge it. Its enough to at least give you half battery again.

It charges separately or if you plug it in while your phone is on it the phone will charge first and then this power pack. Works great. Makes your phone heavier but great on trips or in airports.
