In the 1981 AFC Divisional playoff game (later known as "The Epic In Miami") versus the San Diego Chargers, Nathan gained 169 total yards. He scored 2 TDs including one on the famous "hook and lateral" play in which he caught a toss from receiver Duriel Harris.
