Great token from back in the day. Don't know a whole bunch about it but it does have some weight to it. Perfect for any collector

1818 North American Token Moorman MFG. Co. Quincy, Il./Salutes the American Farmer ~

This item is a token issued by the Moorman Manufacturing Company of Quincy, Illinois, a manufacturer of feeds and medicinal products for livestock.

Appears to represent an early 19th century token - dated 1818 and with the phrase NORTH AMERICAN TOKEN. This company was formed in 1900 and moved to Quincy in 1910; therefore, this token obviously was produced later than this, most likely in the 1960's. It is assumed that the date 1818 was chosen because that was the year that Illinois achieved statehood.
