Description

The listing, Lady's Circle Patchwork Quilts magazine, July 1988, many well-known quilters! has ended.

All you quilters out there will recognize the names of the well-known quilters featured in this issue! There's an article by Joe Cunningham and Gwen Marston from way back when (boy, do they look younger- then again, we ALL looked younger 26 years ago!). Carter Houck is the Editorial Director. Helen Squire has a column and another article. Betty Boyink has an article about quilt shows, and Richard Cleveland discusses the success of the Vermont Quilt Festival, then in its twelfth year! Peggy Beals, founder of the quilt show at the Marshfield Fair in Marshfield, Massachusetts, and the inspiration for the annual Peggy Beals Memorial Quilt Block Contest at the fair, writes about quilters who follow the latest trends and go to all the well-known shows and venues, and then suggests that quilters who don't travel can also continue to learn by reading good quilting magazines! The ads are fun, too! Some of the companies and products are still around and others are not; same with the shows and guilds mentioned in the calendar section.

While this magazine is not in perfect shape (the cover is starting to come loose from the staples), it's still a fun piece of quilting history.

Please note: I only ship to Listia-verified addresses and only in the U.S. I usually ship first class with stamps, so no tracking is available. If this is not acceptable to you, please don't bid.
