Description
The listing, ceramic skull with runes on forhead has ended.
ceramic skull purchased at a medieval reenactment event (Pensic) about 20 years ago. It is in immaculate shape. There are runes in the forehead I know the bottom says, "Death from within" can't remember what the first 2 lines say. The inside is signed with a rune also..
Questions & Comments
Okay, so from knowing the last line says "death from within", the runes appear to be the English transliteration of Elder Futhark. From that, it looks like the first line says "feastkrats" (whatever that means?) and the second line is "re_enge". I guess the upside down V is supposed to be a v, but as far as I know there isn't a Futhark rune for v. The runes on the bottom left appear to say "gaelan". I'm not quite sure what any of that is supposed to mean. It still looks like a really cool piece. Fanned & watching. :)
