My guess is this is from the 1940's~ Could be older~ Very ornate floral design etched into it~ No marking of the maker~ Crack and chip free piece~

It MIGHT be a salt or pepper shaker without the top. Just thought I'd share that. The threaded opening suggests a screw-on top. Very pretty!

I was thinking maybe it held vinegar~ But it could have held salt or pepper also~
