These are gorgeous purple Rose of Sharon seeds from my neighbors tree (pictures are actual tree and flowers). You can prune them into hedges or let them grow as trees, the choice is yours!

*~*~FYI~*~* All my seeds come from fresh living flowers, trees and shrubs, etc. I don't go out and buy my seeds. I work hard at getting my seeds from hikes in the woods, parks, my neighborhood, my garden, etc to get fresh seeds and then sun dry them in baskets so they stay fresh when shipped.

they are dark brown seeds about the size of tomato seeds with a fuzzy edge to them. does that help? are you wanting to harvest some from a plant? if so, they are inside the brown ball/capsule in between the sections, when you take it apart. and you have to catch them before they open up or you'll lose most of the seeds!

Ok I was wondering because I won 2 auctions for them and the 1st lady sent those kind but the other one sent small black seeds. I dont know what I should do since they are not the right ones

hmmm. not sure either. i harvested these seeds right off the tree/bush so i know that what i have is the same as the Rose of Sharon in my pictures. However, i do know there are different flower colors but not sure of different species/seeds from Rose of Sharon? anyone know the answer to her question?
