I got two nephews like that. Guess I will have to visit both in jail one day if they ever graduate highschool. They think they know it all and are quite spoiled and most disrespectful. Unfortunately I cannot give them an old school beating like I used to get when I screwed up. Some kids were meant for prison.

Your nephew is a saint compared to the two materialistic, entitled, foul mouthed nephews my brother brought into this world. If the gift ain't two hundred dollar Jordans then they spit on it. Their parents are divorced and the mother does not instill any discipline nor the father. These boys know how to play both mom and dad and get away with it. When there are police and dirty lawyers involved it is best to stay out of the battlefield. It is their loss. Maybe one day they will grow up and realize how they are and straighten out. The State of Texas will do that for both selfish, inept providers that are messing with their mind. I would rather call them that than parents for which they are not. Well that is all I have to say about them. All that matter is your nephew gets the message and becomes a respectful and courteous man. Cheers!!!!

What a shame...But still, keep your fingers crossed, that they realize that they are not their parents. I have seen kids do a 180 degree turn around, just from the influence of one person saying that 1 thing, that hits home. I have 4 Grand children who are all over the age of 22, and not one of them will even say d_m in front of me...Because, even though they were brought up with very little discipline at home...I made sure they knew, I would not tolerate it...They were asked to leave, or again, I would take their stuff and get rid of it.
