The listing, Exquisitely Unique Vintage Inverted Cameo in Glass Surrounded by Aurora Borealis Rhinestones has ended.

This is a unique cameo for all you cameo buffs out there. It's an old cameo of faceted glass on the top with a yellow gold colored cameo in the glass with the cameo figure pressed in from the back. It's stunning to look at straight on with Aurora Borealis rhinestones encircling it. From the back it appears silvered. The pin works fine and it also has a chain holder for a pendant. There is a tiny fleck of black inside the cameo on the back and a place around the rim seems discolored. I don't know if it's dirt or something else but it doesn't show through on the front. I'm afraid to pursue it. I'll leave the cleaning to the new owner. The glass portion rattles a bit. Prongs may also need to be tightened. Again I'll leave that to the new owner.

Becks, this isn't an inverted cameo. This is an intaglio piece and a very unusual design with the borealis stones and the way in which they are used. Great find!! Hope you get the high bids this deserves!!
