Description
The listing, India 1950 1/4 Rupee has ended.
I don't know how to tell which mint mark this has but maybe you can. The "C" mint marked coin is worth more. This is a beautiful coin with great details. Can't see any wear but its not uncirculated but very nice. At least of condition.
Questions & Comments
With a little help from Wiki here is what I got about Indian Mint Marks
Bombay (Mumbai) Mint has a diamond under the date of the coin. The Proof coins from this mint have a mint mark ‘B’ or ‘M'.
Calcutta mint has no mark under the date of the coin. Or it has a "c" mark.
For Mint marks (identification) please refer to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coins_of_British_India.
Hyderabad Mint has a star under the date of the coin. The other mint marks from Hyderabad include a split diamond, and a dot in the diamond.
Noida mint has a dot under the year of issue
Looking at the Photos there is definately somethin under the Date so I am guessing that this isn't a Calcutta Coin. I still need on for my collection so I'll place a bid and see where it goes.
