The listing, PET ANTICS PHOTO ROSE AUCTION WITH BONUS DRAWING has ended.

Welcome to my Pet Antics Auction..
Here's how this works.. For every pet antic comment made with a bid
about your pet(s), I'll put your name in a drawing for a Rose. The winner of this auction will receive one rose with a pic of your pet (no more than 2 pics on 1 rose) in the color of paper they want. The winner of the drawing-WINS THE SAME THING! Meet my babies. First we have Radar the 2nd youngest of the family at 3 years old. Radar loves to play, and cuddle but only when he wants. Radar is the newest addition to the family and thinks he can rule them all. He's a happy chunky kitty with lots of love to give.. The 2nd pic is Izzy the old man of the family, at 10 years old he's still full of it! Izzy is the first one to come into the family. Time sure flies. He is definitely a lover all the way. When I went to the shelter to look at cats Izzy crawled my arm, sat on my shoulder and gave me a kiss. He's had my heart since. I knew he had to come home with me..He was birthday gift to our youngest son..And he is the most spoiled cat in the house.. He's our cross eyed cutie patootie. He loves attention, and seems to think he's the only one allowed it.Then we have Zena, warrior kitty, and she lives up to her name with style. Zena loves attention, when she wants it and only if she wants it. Zena will give you an abundance of lovin, but, only if that's what she wants.. The warrior princess loves to pounce off walls, and to paw slap anyone that walks by..If Zena wants fresh water she will drag the water bowl to the middle of the floor and sit and look at you like "so, when you gonna fill this". The last pic is the baby, Smeagle, he just turned 1 in Jan.. And he loves to play with the others, whether they like it or not! About 4 months ago Smeagle was coming in from outside, he ran towards me and 4 feet away just jumped and landed in my lap.. Which was about as funny as could be, Smeagle is a lab/chow mix and I'm pretty sure
he weights a TON! The last pic. the family

I love the roses!!! My fur baby's name is Carlisle and is a Chihuahaunese, lol. I almost lost him at 9 weeks due to Parvo, but a very special veterinary doctor who herself has since passed due to cancer nursed him back to health. She would personally go and check on him and try and get him to eat every day for 9 very long days. Between her attentiveness and my visiting everyday he pulled through and is very, very special to me. Everybody that meets him loves him.. He is a people dog I guess you would say.

Our Boxer/Dane "Biggie" passed just a month ago at age 14. He was a street rescue that we found with a gash all around his neck from being tied up with wire, and it was very infected. He rewarded our kindness by being the best dog anyone could ever ask for. He did every trick we could think of to teach him. He even spoke, saying "I love Mama", and the names of all of our cats when we pointed to them. He was the most devoted companion, and super well behaved. He took a big chunk of my heart with him when he went to heaven, and I will never be the same without him by my side.

The loss of ones 4 legged friends is never easy. I dread the day it happens to my family. From the sounds of the bond with you and Biggie, I do believe he will always be by your side. And how adorable that he could say I love Mama! The person that treated him bad is no friend to mankind. I have your name in the drawing, good luck on the auction and the drawing..

I didn't realize what an impact having this auction would have on me and others taking part in or just stopping by my auction. The stories have left me proud to be a friend of pets, has left me in tears, and with smiles on my face and in my heart. There has been enough interest in this auction that I will list another when this one ends, complete with the drawing. I would like to thank each and every one who has come to this auction, made comments, shared smiles and tears. And to those who have shared their wonderful stories, I would like to thank you most off all.. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Hello Hello! I don't have any pets, per-say...I was given 2 dalmatians for my 21st Birthday - named them Yuppie & Cody. I was in college at the time with a year to go. So they basically stayed at my parents until I was ready to take them after school. Well, to say the least, they got attached to my Parents :) So they kept them...still have them actually. My Father passed away a couple years ago and there they were, both dogs at the graveyard services. It was heart-wrenching. Yuppie went up to the coffin afterwards and licked the coffin....I think we all cried even more :( Anyway. I'm going to bid on this, of course, because it's such a unique auction. My Mom now has both dalmatians, a wiener dog and a beagle. I would love to get her one with "Bobby" the Wiener :)

First of all I'd like to say I'm sorry for the loss of your father.
You have left me speechless and with tears in my eyes. Your father must have had a special relationship with his 4 legged friends. Yuppie has captured my heart and I'm so glad he has such a wonderful loving home. I wish you luck on the auction and the drawing, I've got your name in the jar now.. Thank you for sharing your story!

I went to pick up my niece at a restaurant out in the country one night. She brought me a plate of fries to eat while I sat outside on the porch waiting on her to finish closing. Around the corner came a cute black mama dog and 3 pups. They were starving to death. I gave them my fries and took a shine to one of the pups. She was brown with a light tan mask and gold eyes. I had my niece ask the owner if they were his dogs and if I could have the brown puppy. I took her home that night. Shame on a restaurant owner letting his dogs starve. I took her to the vet the next day. We named her Coco Bean. She has our heart. And she has not been hungry a day since I brought her home. She has never been trained but is very smart. She sits, high fives, touches and loves to go to the store. She is very protective of me even against my husband when he plays like he is going to slap my leg. We raise Rotties and kept a puppy from our last litter that we decided to raise in the house. Sadie Baby is now 6 months old and Coco's best friend. We have 3 Rotties outside also. Love your roses and would love to get some but not sure I have enough credits to win. Please let me know if you sell them and how much they are.

How wonderful everyone is sharing their special stories of their "fur children"...we adopted Sage January 13 on my husband's birthday. He was volunteering dog walking at a shelter and Sage caught his eye. It was love at first sight. We heard that someone found him roaming alone on the harsh, snowy and cold, streets here in Chicago(someone may have dumped him out in the streets). He went through an adjustment period and learned to get along with our 6 cats. Sage loves being dressed in his biker jacket and could play the leading role as Danny in a doggie version of Grease.

How Et Tu got his name... At the time I was working for a Valve Supply business, it was just down the street from the local pound. My boss got wind of the tire slasher in my neighbor hood and he took me to the pound to get a hound. That is where he got his yard dog for the business... his dog's name was Brutus :)
* yes it is a play on the Latin Quote when Brutus slayed Cesar "Et Tu Brutai" (You Too Brutus) giggles they both came from the pound :)

I had a pound hound ... Queensland Heeler... that I got to protect my tires from the slasher who had attacked all 4 of my truck tires TWICE.... Et Tu was a great lil yard dog, never wanted in the house or in the car... he loved chasing a 55 gal Rubbermaid trash can around the yard...did a great job of keeping the weeds down too :)

*tires were never slashed again either :D

My kitty, Bobby, who is in my profile picture is a miracle baby. I do the bookkeeping for a local Veterinarian clinic and the doctor's niece's dog actually dug him up out of a hole he fell into as a tiny kitten....he was somehow separated from his mama. The doctor and staff cleaned him up and bottle fed him until he was old enough to be adopted. Once a week I go into their office to work and it was love at first site. I couldn't wait to cuddle with him and visit him each week. When it was time for him to be adopted out I just had to have him. I brought him home to our 1 year old calico girl kitty and she took to him like he was her own baby. They love each other sooooo much and he is my little shadow. I love him to pieces....a perfect match!

I volunteered at a shelter for over 7 years. A breeder came in and dumped off my Little Roo. She is deformed and they couldn't sell her. I call her handicapable. She is 4 years old and has been a certified therapy dog for three years now. She goes to hospitals, schools, special events, and is a hospice volunteer. I am her "Service Human".
Love these roses. Very creative. I have started collecting art of my Roo. I have two painted pics of her and this would look beautiful on her dresser.

I must add one more story about Biggie. We decided to take whim with us for a car ride to look at Christmas lights around our town. His head was turning to see each and every light display, and he really took it all in! When hubby said "Is it pretty, Biggie?", the dog let out a huge bark, as if to day "YES!!" He had not made a sound until then, and took us totally by surprise. BTW, your roses are a brilliant idea!

That's to cute.. thank you for adding that. I'll bet Biggie hasn't stopped making sounds since then! I know that once our Smeagle started barking he finds that he really enjoys it! But he is a good dog and trained rather easily about that! lol
