The listing, 5 Amorphophallus Bulbifer plant seeds has ended.
Amorphophallus bulbifer
With a height of about 1.2 m (4 ft.) one of the smaller Amorphophallus, this species hails from the monsoonal forests of northern and eastern India and Nepal. The single, much branched leaf, carried on a beautifully dark, marbled stalk, forms bulbils on its axils , which can be used to propagate the plant. In winter, the leaf dies and the plant remains dormant in a round underground tuber. With the arrival of warmer weather it puts out a peach colored flower stalk. Amorphophallus bulbifer does well in a warm temperate climate in a protected spot under filtered light. It can also be successfully grown in a pot. You get 5 fresh seeds that are already sprouting. So you will have almost instant plants once they hit the soil.
I will accept cash or money order in the mail. I will also accept paypal but with a paypal payment I will charge an extra dollar as paypal charges for each transaction thank you and happy bidding!
I've sent seeds before and it is only a few stamps....I would bid on this but the shipping is too much and then adding $1 for PayPal? The charges on $2.89 might be .30 at most. According to Listia rules shipping should never cost more than the actual cost of shipping the item. Are they unusually big and need extra room? Everything I'm saying is assuming they are average size seeds.
I'm not trying to cause trouble, it's an item I would be interested in but like I said above, if you're willing to work on the shipping costs I and probably others would bid. You don't have any bids yet so it could be changed. Thanks!
Well I'm bidding & no worries , I'm ready to pay the shipping charges .I know some people won't pay agree to shipping charges , I had the same issue with some of my plants where I had to to some special arrangements to ship them. The one you listed is quite unique and can't be found easy .. no idea why people won't pay a min shipping charge ... Ohh , buy the way , any idea about the zoning of this plant ?
