Magnetic beads are (generally speaking) Magnetic Hematite or Hemalyke (synthetic Hematite). They act like magnets and will adhere themselves to anything metal, or to each other. These have been painted a bright pink color, as the Hematite alone is generally a very dark, dreary color.
Magnetic beads are a wonderful choice for those creating "therapeutic" jewelry (good for arthritis relief, swollen and achy joints). Many people believe that wearing magnets helps to relieve these symptoms. These can be paired with any other type of bead and used in bracelets, necklaces, anklets, etc. If you do a Google search on "magnetic jewelry", you can see all the different ways this type of bead can be used.
The therapeutic properties of them is what I would be interested in, I have a lot of painful joints due to injuries and I have a bracelet already and it works great, so i am interested only for that reason, pink is not my color, i actually hate pink.
We may be listing some other colors and some non-painted hematite in the future. Maybe later on we'll have something a bit more to your liking. :) Keep watching! ;)
They are primed, painted and it's baked on. I don't think it could be removed easily.
Really, I will be listing more magnetic Hematite/Hemalyke in the future. I'd hate to see you go through a lot of work just to try and remove paint from these beads
