Here we have a lovely old purse in need of some TLC. If it could only talk imagine what we might learn about where this old bag was purchased, where it was worn, and how I came to have it. Anyone who collects antiques shares the same romantic thoughts. This bag is from about the turn of the century. The frame is good and strong, its all original, but it does have some problems. Some purses of this type have been made of sterling but not this one. I believe this one to be German silver which contains no silver at all. This one is in need of repair I can no longer do. Please view photo's closely. Some of the mesh has come detached from the frame on both sides and the metal has tarnished from lack of attention. It's been waiting for attention for some time now so I will pass it along for someone else to look after now.
