Teddy wears newborn-sized clothing. He has been painted using multiple translucent layers of Genesis heat-set paints. The paint is durable and permanent. The paint was sealed with a matte varnish and then a skin mixture applied to give the look of real skin. His eyebrows have been completed with a mixture of GHS paint and a prisma-color pencil. Both give permanent results. Light veining and mottling to give him a newborn look.
Teddy has been weighted to feel like a real baby. You will need to support his head which has been weighted with plastic pellets and poly-fill. His limbs have been weighted with premium fine glass beads and soft poly-fil, giving a squishy feel when squeezed. His doe-suedebody has been weighted with plastic pellets and then filled with just the right amount of soft poly-fil to give that floppiness you find in real babies. The head and limbs are secured to his body by plastic ties with the excess being cut and filed to remove any sharp edges.
Teddy has the bluest acrylic eyes which will make any new mommy fall instantly in love. His eyelashes have been neatly glued and his nostrils opened and backed with felt to give the illusion of depth.
Teddy will arrive at his new home via priority mail with the new outfit he is wearing, a random onesie and receiving blanket, as well as with a birth certificate. Name will be left blank on birth certificate, allowing you to change his name if you desire. Please note: Teddy has a magnet in his head behind his mouth, but he will not come with a magnetic paci. Magnets can affect electronics and should not be around those with pacemakers. Please remember this after purchasing.
