The listing, PRETTY Garnet & Diamond Gold Ring Size 5-6 ~3-Day Auction~ has ended.

I am purging my jewelry stash on all 3 day auctions to win something for my daughter! Hopefully 3 days is long enough to get some views :/

I have had this pretty little ring for about 15 years. I haven't had it looked at by a jeweler so I can't say for sure about it's authenticity. It has held up well, I've never had it cleaned and wore it every day for about 4 years, it has never discolored or turned my skin a wierd color. I'm thinking it's at least gold plated and I am 99% sure the garnet is genuine. As for the 2 little diamonds on each side, I'm unsure. There is some writing on the inside that both my husband and I couldn't make out, I took a picture of it although that's not very clear either. I have small hands and I wore this on my middle finger, which is usually a size 6, I said 5-6 because it does feel a bit snug (could be the summer heat.) I recieved many compliments on it and am sure that whoever wins this will be very happy with it :)

The garnet is a really pretty dark red and I'm sure it will clean up beautifully, I should have had it cleaned before listing it.

Could you give a litter more info on it. You said you have owned it for 15 or so years. If you don't mind me asking where did you get it from/aquire/a gift/purchase it? Maybe this will give a clue to the type of metal the stone is set in.

Hi Ariane, I honestly cannot recall where it came from, it was most likely a gift since I wore it in my teenage and early 20's.

The style is very simular to Lind jewelry... which wuld make it 14K or 18K gold electroplate...very high quality :-)
