Questions & Comments
I didn't take it like that. I didn't even read your comment until now I was just saying something to follow up my other post. I know most places around here charge a fee for testing gold. If you pay the credits and then pay to have something tested you are out some credits. If you just rock something fake and don't care you might be time ahead.
Good luck with the move I know thats one of the most stressful things to do!
yes very stressfull going 1004 miles away with 4 kids a dogand 4 adults thats why something i have listed on here is the least of my worries............thank you
Just a precious gold chain will be watching and whenit's coming to ending the auction that's when i come in and bid! i want it for my hubby since his b-day is april 17th he would just love this necklace real or fake, no problema... (a el le gustara) he will like it!
Hi I just wanted to say this is a nice chain I hubby wants it. I was looking up gold and Italy is the biggest gold suppliers there are but there are people that try to scam people but using the stamp. Since you don't have time to have it checked you can get a magnet to check it that way if it sticks it's fake. Just wanted to share some info good luck I'll be watching.
nice chain. If it wasnt packaged you could make a small scratch on the underside (so that it isnt showing when worn) and if it doesnt change then its probably real. I saw the jeweler do that a few yrs ago. Now they will scratch it and drop some kind of clear fluid on it and somehow that tells them. But that is how they test it.
Oh, also alot of pawn shops will tell you it is worth nothing but, in reality it is worth alot so you really need to take it to a jeweler they are pretty much straight forward. i do not trust a pawn shop they pay you lose take to proffessional igf you really think something is the real macoy!!!
if it is only stamped 14 kt. it most likely is gold but, omn the other hand does the stamping look to be pretty new then it might be a fake .then it could really be 14 kt. who knows but, i'm willing to take that chance hope i win then i'll let everyone know if it is real or memorex!!! LOL
thank you it realy would not make a diffrence to me either way it would still be sitting in my box, and i would not care if it is real and only get 100 credit or fake and get 100 credits. I dont want it sitting around, I dont like it, someone ealse may wear it and like it fake or not.
To Mozingo, I wasn't being a smart ass ok? I was just asking cuz if it was real, It would go up higher in credits. And maybe instead of getting credits for she might want the money for it. Everyone can use extra cash. It be free cash at that, since she found it. I was only trying to help. Not being rude or a smart @ss about it.
Even if its fake it would still make a nice necklace. I know alot of people who wear fake jewerly. Chances are in favor of finding something fake over real just because of how much costume stuff is out there. No one needs to know though that its fake.
yes they can. it is already packaged up for shipping as soon as theauction it done it will be mailed out. I am moving to kansas next week ,so i wanted to make sure it was ready to go
as long as you take a very close look and there aren't any markings like posted above you should be fine. some times the stampings are super hard to read so they can be easily over looked. I know what fleamarketmutt is talking about having a necklace stamped and then having the gold rub off. UGH! your item looks very nice though! Thanks for posting!
wellit is stamped 14k Italy and thats it but you never know, and on this one i dont know like i said it was found and i realy dont know anything about it. so i am just taking a chance putting it on here as well as the bidder.and thank you
well i didnt want to say yes it was real because you never know if you dont buy it your self.and realy i still dont know for sure so that is the chance i am taking as well as the buyer. but thanks for the info.
