Absolutely!!! Would probably work very well. Normally with thick hair, the last thing u want is volume but for straight like u said, it works WELL! AND does wonders for layers. Really gives them that tiny iota of "lift and separation" they need. Lolol I sound like I'm talking about boobs haha
