Text on box instructs as follows:

1. When filling display fixtures tear off printed ends of boxes as emptied.

2. Drop box ends into this reorder box.

3. Box ends contain complete reorder information.

4. Transfer box end information from collected box ends to your order sheet.

5. Destroy these box ends when order is written.

This metal drop box was used by Wright's (now called Wrights) at the company, service &/or retail level; it is not something the average customer used. As such, it's a rather rare find. I mean, how many have you seen? *wink*

Box has a slot in the top, like a mail slot. The top is hinged to open (works great!), and a metal stand on the back which seems proportioned more for hanging than standing (when box is set flat on its bottom, the metal flap on back does not touch the surface.)

Box measures roughly 7 by 3.5 by 2 inches.
