Description

The listing, Tiny Treasure Chests has ended.

30 - 36 of those small treasure chests that denists use to give to put ur baby teeth in. These are new and never used. There are 6 of each color available (green, red, pink, yellow, and blue kinda translucent). If u need 3 or 4 more, let me know and I will include them. They do not close well, but I used them open as baby treasure chests.

I used them for my son's Pirate Party. I colored the cupcakes with black paste food coloring and then added the chests and some gold bead and yellow food conffetti in and around the chest (put a dab of frosting in the chest first) and then, as my son's b-day is near Halloween, I found some skeleton bone candy and arranged a skeleton on the cupcake.(found some of the bones at Oriental Trading). They were a BIG HIT with his class.

thanks! i already had that idea in mind of having a treasure hunt! i just havent decided what they are going to hunt yet. im also thinking of getting lots of temp tattoos so everyone can have lots of tattoos like a pirate or maybe i can do
face/body painting and then either making eye patches or swords or something easy that the kids can do themselves. he's turning 3 but the kids will range from like 1-13 i believe.

they are so cute on the cupcakes. good luck on the pirate party. i really enjoyed doing dan-dan's pirate party. we even had a "real live" treasure hunt with a "real live" treasure map (homemade).

in fact, i still have some of the "PARCHMENT" PAPER leftover and if the WINNER WANTS, I will INCLUDE 3 sheets of it. u can draw on ur own homemade map or u can try to run it through ur printer, but do not know if it's printer friendly so I wouldn't risk it. try the gold mettalic perament markers from WalMart (2 for a $1) to write on it if u can't find brown ink.

let me know hou ur party goes!

sounds great. i put their goody bags in the yard and hid them under some empty flower buckets. they really enjoyed "finding" their bags. i just ordered some decorate ur own wooden pirate's chest from Oriental Trading in the "less than perfect" sections for $5 for 12 (IN-48/1799-BV) for my granddaughter's b-day (which will be a luau). they don't close, but at that price who cares? this way they find "real treasure chests". or each person's could be in a different spot? u would have to decorate them before the pary or maybe make decorating them part of the party?
