12 or 13, they are about the same challenge. Emotional, much? Wednesday he found out the advisor had moved him to a different group in the extracurricular activity he's in, and in reaction, he was cranky, crabby, snotty, and rude at his grandmother's birthday dinner he'd been looking forward to just that morning! My method for handling the lip is take a deep breath, let it out, if I want to yell, take another breath, and repeat to myself over and over, "This too shall pass." LOL. My son is another cup of tea he has special needs but way smarter and we'll put together then most he's going thru a lot becuz he can't do everything like other kids with having the heart transplant he can't play any contact sports he's also diabetic so he has to take insulin and anti rejection mess so he's really emotional right now

Unfortunately, my shopping trip got interrupted. It was only 45 degrees and windy tonight (unusually cold even for early October in Minnesota), and my 13 year old went to the high school football game in shorts and a hoodie. Oddly enough, after an hour, he couldn't feel his legs or hands and wanted to come home. :(
