this piece takes me back a ways

i remember when i could put
a coin or two in a vending machine and get myself
a cool little knife.

well, this is one
of those knives.
man, how times have changed.....

stainless steel blade

gold glissening skins
on aluminum handles

aluminum bolsters

i don't know the exact age
of this knife, but i do know it
dates back, back, back!!!

i personally consider these
knives to be collectible,
but to each their own.
"one man's trash" and all that.
ya know?
anyway....

the blade has absolutely
no wobble and has a great
snap when you close it!!!

this knife is like brand
new, but i deem it used

Thank you and I fanned you also. We old timers have to keep the memories alive. How else will the generations to come know about these things. Besides if I was a teenager now in the world we live in today, I'm not so sure I could believe how easily accessible some items was to the youth. Sure couldn't put vending machines full of knives out today. Sometimes I wish I could live in a much simpler time..

Well, as I stated in the description, I don't know the exact age, but being almost 56yrs old, I do remember these little guys way back in the day.
And as for being sharpened, no it's not been touched.

I can remember seeing these in vending machines maybe late 60's.I'll be 51 soon. I enjoyed looking at them as their shine and sparkle captured my attention. When I would go into the filling station with my parents I had to always take a peek. Wow how times have changed. For obvious reasons vending machines can't contain items like this anymore. Thank you for a step back in time.
