It doesn't say on the box or instruction manual but I'm pretty sure it's IDE.

ahhh.. I really need one of these but my drive is 3.5", I always see 2.5 HDD Enclosures online but find it hard to find 3.5 ones. are 2.5 drives the ones that come out of laptops?
