This auction is for 50 Romaine Lettuce seeds.
These are Non GMO and untreated seeds from my home grown garden.

1st pic is after 7 days of planting in flats, 2nd pic is about 19 days and then planted outside in garden (3rd pic)about 4/22 and they did well considering the frost scare for 3 days. :)

Sprouts in 7-14 days and Matures in 70-80 days Do not allow to be in ground much past the maturity or you will have sour lettuce.

~Just like any leafy veggie, grows best in coll weather~~(beginning of Spring or Fall)

These seeds need full sun to part shade, not to excessive or plants can bolt to seed or cause leaves to wilt. Prefer well drained, cool, loose soil with plenty of moisture.

--Direct seeding in garden bed: 1/8 inch deep, 1 inch apart in rows 12 to 18 inches in spacing.

--Transplanting: May use flats or pots. 1 inch in soil. 3-4wks. before planning to plant in outside bed. 3 days prior to planting outside, harden seedlings by reducing water and temperature.
