Description

The listing, (30) Spagetti squash seeds / Cucurbita pepo has ended.

This is a NEATO squash. Once ripe you simply cut in half cut the seeds out and bake in the oven till soft. Cut side down. Then you take a fork and rake the fork along inside of the squash. It makes it look kinda like spaghetti, and it tastes like (kinda) like spaghetti. And as you can see it can be eaten with sauce like spaghetti. It can also be used as an ingredient in soups and stews. Cooked and cooled, it is served as a salad, dressed with vinaigrette or mayonnaise. Raw, it is eaten grated (squeeze to remove excess water). The seeds can be roasted, similar to pumpkin seeds. YUMMY !! I will put 50 seeds in an baggie and ship. I cant guarantee that these will grow. Although they are simple to grow, some people dont have green thumbs. LOL ! ;0)

I think my mom introduced me to them. I was allergic to so much they were always trying to find foods I could eat to give my diet more variety.
