The listing, DOG NAIL CLIPPERS FOR LARGER DOGS has ended.
We have German Shepards and I accidentally ordered two of these so I kept one and the other goes to listia.
If you have never clipped your dogs nails before but have decided to tackle it, PLEASE read the directions on the back. Its important to be mindful of the "quick" which is a vein in their nail, not quite as long as their nail....that will bleed if you cut into it.
We used it on our 180 lb shepard and followed the directions with no problem. Cut a little off, wait 7-10 days, cut a little more, wait again and you should have no problems. Herman was a rescue from an abuse situation and besides looking like a small pony, he is a fairly well adjusted dog who won't run at all and we have tried and tried, but not even home made dog biscuits will get a gallop, thus the need for nail cutting.
Smoke free/pet friendly home. You are welcome to ask questions but I am not a pro. I'll take advise too.....
