You are bidding on a Betsy Ross plate from Avon. This plate if from 1973. It was made exclusively for Avon by Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) LTD. England. There is a paper with it that tells about Betsy Ross. It is a very nice collector plate. It does not have any chips or cracks. It does have the box.

It is currently in a smoke free and pet free home BUT it came from a VERY heavy smokers home. I don't think the plate was removed from the box due to the lack of yellowing from smoke. Please refer to the pictures for smoke markings.

Front is white with gold colored outer rim and inner rim. Betsy Ross is written in cursive on botton front of plate. Gold design circles plate. In center of plate is painting of Betsy Ross signed by artist James S Avati.

Back of plate says : Betsy Ross, Patriot with Founding Fathers and the Stars and Stripes. Made exclusively for Avon Products, Inc. by Enoch Wedgewood (Tunstall) Ltd., England. Copyright Avon Products, Inc. 1973.

Plate is 8 7/8 inches across and 1 inch tall when on flat surface.
