With gift cards, you need to develop a reputation as a really reliable seller, immediate delivery of the gift code, answering every comment, etc. If you browse the listings, you'll notice that some gift card sellers get consistently more credits for their items than others, and that's because people know they can trust them for fast and reliable delivery. You can always get your credits refunded if the seller reneges, but it takes about a week and it's so frustrating to have you credits tied up so you can use them. Negative feedback is a DEATH knell for a gift card seller, not gonna lie ...

Sorry for the typos, I meant to say it's so frustrating to have your credits tied up so you CAN'T use them, if you have to get a refund. I'm waiting for a refund now from a newbie seller with a really bad attitude (and no intention of sending me the gift card) and I could use those credits badly!

For the most part, the folks on Listia are REALLY great to deal with, but most of the bad apples are people who are new and just decide not to delivery the item the listed after their auctions end. That's why new sellers have to earn their stripes before they get a lot of action, particularly on gift cards.

Listia is like any other selling venue, you have to come up with a strategy for both buying and selling. If you browse the listings you'll see successful sellers with all sorts of strategies. My strategy is to sell all the stuff beaders need to make nice quality jewelry, and also the Pandora style stuff. Works pretty well for me and I get a ton of repeat buyers.

No, luv, absolutely NO restrictions. No expiration date either. There is a code on the back of the card where you can actually order things on line. Veried with the local Lowes store just now. To the blessed winner of this auction, which ends tomorrow. I will email you the codes, as well as sending it out in the mail TOMORROW. Given enough feed back, I may do this again!!! Happy bidding!!

I guess I better list a lot of items then if you continue to do this ! We just bought a 'fixer upper'; needs a lot more fixin that we anticipated. We knew there would be stuff to fix; thought we were getting a good deal........ then we moved in. three months later I want to say "I change my mind". lol So, we need new everything and Lowe's is the place we go because they have the best prices in this area.
