The listing, Samsung Galaxy S3 (Virgin Mobile) has ended.

Phone is in good conditions only problem with it is that it no longer charges with a USB Cable. I used to charge it with a battery charger. The only reason I am selling this phone is becasue I switched to Sprint with a family plan. I love this phone. Never gave me any problems with the way applications work. I tend to use my phone a lot while charging it, I believe that is the reason why the USB port no longer works. You are not supposed to be moving it around so much when is charging. I will include a Silicone cover and the battery charger along with the phone. If you have any other questions please ask before bidding. Thank you and happy bidding!

No, not with the USB cord. I used to charge it with a external battery charger, which I will be providing along with the phone.

Galaxy S3 has a common problem of burning out the charge port from using a USB charger which is more than 5v. There is no way to permanently fix this, unless you know the lost art of chipset soldering. However, an extra battery and external wall charger would solve the issue. You can get them on eBay and Amazon, model specific, for a more than reasonable price. You're welcome.

Is this particular model of the Samsung galaxy S3 a GSM (has sim card) or CDMA phone type? Also is it unlocked, I plan to use it with Koodo, here in Canada.

it doesn't use a sim card so Im guessing its a CDMA phone type. The phone is not unlocked, but if it has to be I will find a way to unlock it. I want to make sure the person that wins it will be able to use it.

I just want to know if it would work if a charged battery is put inside.
If it does, I would get a external charger for it and charge the battery that way.

not sure exactly what you mean by a battery charger is it a charger where you take the battery out of the phone and stick it in the charger to charge it is that what you mean
