Description

The listing, STARFISH SUCCULENT CUTTING~"1" CUTTING ABOUT 4 INCHES~UNUSUAL/DIFFERENT~L@@K!! has ended.

WOW!! Here today---we have another of my DIFFERENT and UNUSUAL plant picks---up for your bidding pleasure!! When I got this succulent, I got it simply because I did not have one. Recently I have a new FAVORITE! These are GREAT houseplants!! And SURPRISE--I got up one morning to the beautiful bloom you see in Photo#1!
For this auction, you will receive ONE HARDENED cutting from the plant in PHOTOS #1-5
This cutting will be sent with a "hardened" end. I suggest you have a pot and CACTUS Potting soil ready. Upon arrival, simply place hardened end in potting soil (about 1-1 1/2 in. deep) and moisten soil with a SPRAY BOTTLE~DO NOT "SOAK" CACTUS MIX-Water ONLY to MOIST--and with a spray bottle, is best. Place INSIDE in the brightest window you have--OUT of direct sun (this is a house plant until it begins to grow.

There you have it---a clipping from the Mother plant (1) for another different and unusual plant. (NOTE---this succulent has NO THORNS). N*O*T*E MOTHER PLANT NOT INCLUDED!!

I offer FREE SHIPPING to save you $$$!!
GOOD LUCK and Happy Gardening!!

Trade a stalk? I couldnt smell mine either-but I made sure it was outside. Took a week or so to make the big 'pod' , then the bloom opened in minutes-and I got it all with my camera! Stayed opened a few days-the flies-but more bloomed open-got about 5-6 blooms in a few weeks time-So much detail within the flower-got pics of that too!

LOL---I never smelled anything with mine. I SAW the bloom--did not smell anything. The flies came in--but we live in the country too---so who knows if it was THIS---or just FLY SEASON in the country. When they are not in bloom---they are just a really cool succulent--I have several different ones--but the others have not bloomed as yet. Thanks for asking!!

Gotta enter this conversation about "stink". Even though my plant bloomed out on my deck this summer, as soon as I saw the flower open I put it right up to my nose and (gently and slowly) sniffed. There was just a faint smell. I have smelled worse from a skunk passing by (we live in the country).

I think too much is made about the stink and I will grow them smell or not. The flowers are stunning and there are sooooo many varieties!

I had my first one in 1971 and it lived all year long on my front windowsill! No one (not even husband) complained that there was a smell !!!

C'mon everyone LIVE ON THE WILD SIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. HI Sandy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
