Your not suppose to re sell phones that were on a contract, Do you really understand what it means? They give you the phone at a cheaper price on a contract if you do not hold up to the contract you either have to pay the whole price of the phone which is a lot and i doubt that since you have two iPhones or give the phone back which you have not done. I hope you understand no one will be able to have service with either of the phones you are selling because of the contract they will always have a bad ESN until you return the phones or pay the total amount owed for both the phones at full price. I know what i am talking about, I have been through this with walmart and radio shack with these contract plans.
I actually work at a cellular store. Yes these phones were previously on a contract. But that has been canceled which yes means that the Esn has been locked, however. My situation is a bit different. Legally, an yes I've been to the police and a lawyer these phones are mine. I have contacted Verizon an they were the ones who gave me the information about flashing the phones. What that does is erase the esn an you are provided with a new one when you take it to another provider. I have specified this to everyone who has asked about this. Also when a phone has been placed in a contract an it gets canceled after 6 months the phone will be unlocked an have clean esn's provided you haven't already flashed them. I apologize for your bad experience with other phone companies an purchases you may have made or if you feel like I'm trying to cheat anyone out of anything. I hope you have. Good day thank you for you're interest.
I talked to straight talk actually an they only take cdma phones from Verizon. This is a cdma/gsm phone I've read though that people have been able to get them working on straight talk.

thanks for fast reply and i use wi fi so im good. just wanted to make sure i could get to the inside of the cell and that u didnt mean locked by pw or something like that :)
do u mean its not unlocked like its locked to a certain company? or do u mean its locked with like a password and u cant get past the lock screen to the rest of the cell?? thanks.
It's locked to Verizon. The iPhone 4s is a cdma/gsm. They're all made the same bit for every company the operating systems and programming are a little different. It can be used on other networks though, if you pay to have it flashed.
