Description

The listing, Belkin 2-Port USB Print Server & Wireless G Plus MIMO USB Network Adapter has ended.

Before I had to buy a new printer, I bought this Belkin 2-Port Print Server and this USB Wireless Adapter in great used condition for my Belkin router so I could print wirelessly. My printer had finally died and I needed a new printer, so I dont need this anymore.

If your existing printer is not capable of wireless connectivity, you can add this to your network and print wirelessly. All power cables and software cd is included. You get everything in the pictures.

Box weighs approx 1lb 12oz if you would like to calculate the shipping costs. My zip code is 30248.

I am new to Listia, but not new to selling online. Please only serious bidders need apply. Non-responsive & non-paying bidders will be reported and placed on my personal blacklist indefinitely.

If for some reason the actual shipping was over guessed (based on shipping weight) I will refund the difference. If it was under guessed, I'll take responsibility for the difference. I wont make you pay for my mistake.

Paypal Only! Its the safest, easiest and fastest way to pay online.

You have up to 7 days to give me shipping payment and shipping address. If I dont hear from you within 7 days, an auction dispute will be opened, I will relist the item and get to keep any credits earned.

here is the reply that i got.

Sellers without the Seller Wings badge is considered a new Seller. Sellers with the Seller Wings badge will have the ability to use the Get It Now option. Additionally, once there are bid(s) on an auction, the seller cannot edit/modify their listing.

Since this is a 10-day auction, you still have plenty of time to receiving more bids, so have fun with it and the more you list and have successful auctions, the sooner you can to receiving the Seller Wings badge (to learn more about this badge, go to: www.listia.com/badges)

I hope this information was helpful. If you have any further questions please let us know and we thank you for using Listia.

Sincerely,
ListiaRosie

since were both a little tight on funds, would u agree to 50/50? u pay half and ill pay the other half. based on ur zip code and the box weighing 1lb 12oz how it sits now, priority mail is $6.20 & parcel post is $5.89. i packed it up in a smaller box but still some bubble wrap to keep everything protected and it now weighs only about 3-4oz less. prices didnt change. found one belkin print server on ebay and it has a buy it now of $100. not saying i want what i have in it, but when i bought it was around $45. pretty good deal for only paying shipping. let me know what u think.

Thanks for trying to help, but what my son told me that I'm needing is some kind of antena to pick up the signal better from her house, cause we are to far from it, I have to run from window to window with this to get signal so I can get the internet to use it, I have a toshiba laptop, it has wireless built in it, just won't pick up her internet from here, Thanks

(continued. it didnt send the whole thing so i split it up into two comments. heres the rest of my reply)

this is how i set mine up before i had to buy a new printer. at that point all i had to do from my new wireless printer was find my network, enter my network id and passcode and connect it. my printer is only plugged into the wall outlet for power. it sits on the other side of my desk in my home office.

what it sounds like in ur case with ur landlord letting u use her internet, if ur connection is poor she would need to get a better router with a wider coverage area for u to get a better internet connection. in terms from oldest to newest as far as wireless is concerned, it all started with A, then B, most recently G, G+, G+ MIMO & the newest one is N. alot of people still use G including me as i have a G+ MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) which means u it can handle multiple computers with a lot of information going in and out at the same time. depending on what router she has will determine the coverage area. the better the router, the better the coverage area as well as better speeds and more multi-tasking. here is a good page about the speeds. hope this helps. let me know if i can help with anything else and ill do my best. http://compnetworking.about.com/cs/wireless80211/a/aa80211standard.htm

(ps: sorry didnt mean to write a novel. sometimes i can get carried away with talking about something.)

Is this like a wireless amplifier, will it work like that to pick up wireless signals from hot spots, my laptop has wireless all ready but it is to far from the signals to pic up good, my land lord told me free internet when we moved in, but didn't tell me we have to pick it up from her house next door, lol.

yes like thriste said. what this does is this lets u print wireless from ur desktop computer without having to hook up ur ethernet cable and it lets u print wirelessly from any wireless laptop that is logged into ur home network.

u have ur modem that of course gives u the internet connection into ur home. then a wireless router is what sends that signal wirelessly to ur laptop. to print wirelessly, this is what this wired print server does. they do make wireless print servers so u dont have to have a wireless adapter (like in my case) but when i searched for this one, all the wireless print servers i wanted were too high in price. thats where the wireless adapter comes in to play. u can either have a wireless print server and be all set up or u would need both of these. a wired print server and a wireless adapter to send the signal to be able to print. hope i didnt make this sound too confusing.

(to be continued)
