This is genuine blue topaz and sterling silver, yes, it tarnishes, will polish up before sending to winner. Stones are genuine, no jewelery cleaner or tarnish remover has changed the color of the stones, they are not dyed, beautiful blue color, the chain does have a magetic clasp, for my ease in putting on or taking off. Chain is about 18" long. I don't remember how many carats it is but the stones are fair size, the middle stone is about 1/4"dia, two smaller ones on each side about 1/8"dia. Any questions please ask I will TRY and answer. If bids go above 1000 will do FREE SHIPPING. This is NOT costume jewelery, it's the real deal I just don't wear it often enough, cleaning out the old jewelery box, not sure of when I bought, probably around 2005-2006.
