Questions & Comments
F&W@tching! When people write F&W it means they've "Fanned" you and are "Watching" your auction. F, W & B means they'll be "Bidding" as well. Click on the tiny BLUE reply button just beneath a comment when responding so that your response will show on the other side of the page. Click on my name or profile pic and it will take you to my profile page. Then click on my auctions and look at the comments on the first item listed and you'll see what I mean.
this will be shipped in a toploder or a case for protection right? it weighs too much to ship with a pwe and a stamp. and too thick to go through a machine......just thoughts not to badger thanks!
You also need to become verified and have to do this via the Listia website. You get 100 points for linking a FB account(FB verified) , 100 for Twitter (Twitter verified - I created an account just to get the points =), 100 points for becoming Phone Verified and another 100 if you pay $1.00 to become PayPal verified, providing you have a PayPal account.
You will get many more watcher's and higher bids on your items once you're verified. Good luck!
GIN stands for Get It Now. I'm not sure how many successful completed auctions you need before you can offer a GIN amount, but I believe it's 5. Just remember, Listia takes 10% of the GIN if someone clicks on it. Also, just a tip, people ask you to GIN an item for one of two reasons. For the most part they're trying to take advantage of you being new by getting you to set a GIN for lower than the item would sell for, or they know the item will sell for more credits than they have. The other rare reason are new people who ask, but I'm dismissing this because it doesn't happen. Think about it, most new people have no idea what a GIN is. Hope this was helpful =)
In order to have better results with this auction, please add more details regarding your item. Your auction is missing a description or picture. These two things will go a long way in instilling confidence in potential bidders. We also highly recommend that you include pictures of the actual item that is being auctioned, (not just use stock photos from the manufacturer). For higher valued items, please include a notecard or piece of paper with your Listia username in one of the pictures of the actual item. This will also reduce the number of questions that your bidders will ask, and most importantly, you`ll get the best results with your auction.
Thanks for making these changes and good luck with your auction!
