The listing, Handmade Sock Alien has ended.

This guy is hand made from a brand new pair of socks and measures aprox 10 inches.

I make sock animals of all sorts and sell them on facebook..this guy is available for adoption.

Filbert is a long ways away from home...He crash landed in my back yard and is now looking for a good home. He loves to run and play, climb on the furnature and bounce.
I have him completely house trained now and he would be an awesome friend for a kid of any age.

I will ship him for free!!

these are adorable...here's an idea for these...make some of them with an opening in the back that would hold a sachet of scent.

lol...I actually have an option that my customers can add...a yarn ball scented with lavender inside the soft monkeys for babies ;) It isn't renewable though...once the scent is gone it's gone...All my sock friends are baby safe unless ordered otherwise for older kids. I dont' think I could add a sachet to the back very easy and it still be baby safe :)

The socks could have a sachet in them that is refillable with scented oil. All the parent would have to do is put a few drops of oil over the spot in the alien that has the sachet and it would renew. The sachet would have to be filled with cotton or something else absorbent, though, instead of herbs.

It wouldn't be good to have the oil going through the outside part of the sock friend though where it would be accessable to the kids though huh? I mean if they are sensative and it would be on the outside it could cause and issue or get on something.

Lavender oil for babies, peppermint oil at Christmas, all kinds of things! vanilla oil at Valentine's day. Oils can get expensive, but you just have to buy it once and it'll do lots of aliens. The parents can buy replacement oil.
