The listing, Rose Scented Geranium--Three (3) Cuttings has ended.
My favorite part of growing geraniums is after a few years they get too leggy, so I clip off the tops of the branches. I stick the tops in the ground in other places in the garden and they root easily! Since it is that time of the year to top mine, I thought I would share a few of the cuttings with my fellow gardening Listians! The winner will receive 3 cuttings that are about 4 inches tall. I will wrap the cut end in moist paper towels and plastic wrap so it stays damp.
I will also include a small plastic baggy with rooting hormone powder in it. All you need to do is dip the cut end of the cutting in the rooting hormone and stick it in some soil, either in a pot or in the ground.
Rose Scented Geranium, Pelargonium graveolens, with its attractive, strongly rose-scented leaves and pinkish white flowers is an interesting addition to the mixed border, adding texture, fragrance and colour. Pelargonium graveolens is an erect, much-branched shrub, that can reach a height of up to 4 feet and a spread of 3 feet. The deeply incised leaves are velvety and soft to the touch and strongly rose-scented.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
