Frank H Taylor
Frank Hamilton Taylor born in Rochester NY on April 21, 1846. Taylor attended public high school in Rochester, then joined the Rochester Grays Battery Light Artillery which joined in the struggle of the Civil War in 1863. He only served briefly and he saw little action. By the 1880's Taylor begun writing articles which he illustrated himself. He covered Ulysses S. Grant’s trip to the American South for Harper's Weekly. He published a book on the Civil War later(Philadelphia in the Civil War 1860-65) at the request of the first guidebook for the Valley Forge Parks Commission and the city of Philadelphia.
