Not only are they edible but they are great used for medicinal purposes! You can also take elderberry in pill form, taken every day it will protect from flu, colds etc. Flowers and berries (in dried form) make a great tea and it does make wonderful jelly too.

Lindarodgerservin, check with your local nursery, they should be able to order you a couple of plants.

I think they grow wild here. I just know I have seen them in the wooded areas.

Would you ship free to Canada or through your regular post office?

What is your zip code (or what Canada uses as one) to let me see how much that would be. I'm sure we can work something out.

It would be my local post office. The cheapest quote I am getting is $3.33. I was anticipating spending a little over a dollar on postage and tracking. Would you be willing (or able) to split the $3.33 with me and pay half ($1.65) ?

I'd be happy to split unfortunately I've been outbid. I am out of credits. I can't tell you how disappointed I am. I've looked everywhere for a root or something to get my own started. Elderberries make my favourite jelly and I haven't had any in years! I hope you will have more later. Thanks anyway.
