I have an Ankh Necklace with your choice of chain. This is a smaller pendant, not huge and gaudy as ankh jewelry often is. The ankh is rhodium plated. It is about 3/4 of an inch long and about 1/2 an inch wide. Choose an 18, 20, 22 or 24 silver plated chain, or an 18 inch black or chocolate brown suede leather chain, or an 18 inch braided black or pink leather chain. I know you want it !!! UNISEX. New.

The ankh, also known as key of life, the key of the Nile or crux ansata (Latin meaning "cross with a handle"), was the ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic character that read "life". It represents the concept of eternal life, which is the general meaning of the symbol. The ankh appears frequently in Egyptian tomb paintings and other art, often at the fingertips of a god or goddess in images that represent the deities of the afterlife conferring the gift of life on the dead person's mummy; this is thought to symbolize the act of conception. Gods are depicted holding the ankh to show that they command the powers of life and death and that they are immortal. The dead also carry it at the time their souls are weighed or when they are aboard the Boat of the Sun God, as a sign that they seek this same immortality from the gods.The origin of the symbol remains a mystery.
