The listing, 2 Cook's Illustrated magazines, Jan.-Feb. '09 and Mar.-Apr. '09, excellent condition has ended.
Happy autumn! I'm offering my two duplicate copies of "Cook's Illustrated" magazine from Jan./Feb. '09 and Mar./Apr. '09. Except for a small dog-ear on the upper right corner of the front cover of the Jan.-Feb. issue, these are in like-new condition. I just discovered this magazine a few years ago and have accumulated several back issues since then. I can't recommend it highly enough. It has NO ads, and each issue is like a mini-cooking encyclopedia. They not only tell you what works best for classic recipes, but WHY it works. Reviews of commonly used kitchen products are also included. This magazine is basically the print version of the "America's Test Kitchen" and "Cook's Country" programs on PBS. Both the magazine and the shows are an invaluable resource for anyone who loves to cook or wants to be a better cook.
