Thanks so much Jakey,i do appreciate it,glad others are on my side about this too,you try to be nice,and do everything possible to be helpful,but a Postal Strike is out of a persons hands completely,nobody was expecting it,or else i wouldnt have put auctions up,or would have atleast warned people of it,so they knew before hand.I too have a bunch of items i won from US Sellers,and i am being patient and waiting,i know if the shoe was on the other foot,they would want others to be patient too.

For all US Bidders,please do not bid,unless you are willing to wait atleast 2 to 3 weeks for ring to be delivered,as even though our Postal Strike has ended,there is a backlog of mail in Canada as well as at the US Border,as you can well imagine when mail has been at a standstill for a few weeks.I have a 100 % feedback rating that i dont want to have tarnished,because some people are impatient.Just think about it,wouldnt you want us to be patient too,if it happened in the USA.I won a camera for over 6000 credits a few weeks back,but i am giving the Seller the benefit of doubt,knowing that it is going to take time to get here,since the Strike happened in Canada !! So if you dont want to be patient and wait,dont bid,as i dont want to lose my 100 % feedback rating,which is very important to me !! Also i might not want to ever list anything again,and just leave Listia,for i dont want to send items out,only to have Buyers be inpatient,request their credits back right away,and then low and behold,in another week,they get the ring,so not only am i out of a ring,but also the credits i was to have won.Wish some people would step into my shoes,and see how they would feel,if this happened to them !!

LilDarlin928, I am also relatively new to Listia and I must thank you for the helpful info here thus far! I am learning more and more as I go, and do not want to make any mistakes or get any negative feedbacks. It is equally good to know about this strike going on, that honestly I was unaware of until now. I am sorry to hear of that obstacle and inconvenience for all who are affected! I just moved to Ohio last fall, and hope it doesn't reach here. I am not a fan beggar as I have also heard some get annoyed by lol! But I will fan you if this is ok. It's always good to get to know new people anyhow :) I will be watching your auctions to see what you have of interest, and hope for the best in bidding for ladecajun in this auction. I remember when i first started out,and first off it was hard to get proper bids,as i didnt have a feedback rating to start with,so people we alittle leery to bid on a newbie auction,but as time went on,they soon realized i was trustworthy as a Seller,Buyer and Shipper.It is very hard especially being from Canada sending items to the US,as sometimes it takes longer to receive items coming from Canada,as they have to go through customs at border,so it isnt as fast as being right in the Country,so alot of people wonder why its taking longer to receive.Then when the Postal Striek came,it made it worse,as not only did others who had won stuff from me have to wait longer for their items,but i too had the same wait for stuff coming from the US,because mail was shut down completely,till Canadas Strike was finally over,i am blessed that most of my winners of my auctions were decent enough to wait,as i proved to them over and over again with my 100 % feedback rating,that i can be trusted,but yet some still get alittle worried when it is taking more than a week or two to get their items,but when mail was at a standstill for a few weeks,you can just imagine the backlog of mail that they had to go through,that includes mail at the border,im hoping mail is starting to get normal again,so that it doesnt take as long anymore for items to reach their destination.Thanks to all my awesome Winners for being patient,I Really Do Appreciate It !!!

well i went and did another offer to get some credits i figure might as well spend the money and get something rather than buy points and they are pricey!my 2 auctions have a lond way to go before they are done and being my first ones i'm sure people are a little leery.though everyone in the listia community had a first auction so i am hoping the best.anyway i was outbid again.glad it's good 4 u sad its not 4 me.theres at least 1 person that wants it as bad as me.i figure alot of folk hang back till its close to do any serious bidding more exciting but i rather be up front that i want it.probably won't win many auctions that way though.:):)

It does take time to build up credits ladecajun,but it is well worth it when you find something you really want,and actually win it.All i can suggest is to get more items for auction,put only for 3 days,so it goes faster for you,the more you auction off,the more credits you will get,and in no time at all,you will get your seller wings,and will get your credits right away,and not have to wait till the buyer says they got your item.Good luck in future auctions,and for your auctions,i will check out your auctions too,and try to help,that is if you give me from Canada free shipping,as i give free shipping to all from Canada and the U.S.. One more thing,try not to auction big bulky items if you do give free shipping,as it will end up costing you alot of money,its what i found out anyways,through my travels through Listia Selling.
