This auction is for the bold, daring & patient gardener who loves irises. These are the "runts" -- various size tubers with one or more small green buds. Oregon has had an "Indian Summer" so I am doing the last of cleaning up & I decided to offer them for auction rather than toss these little guys. This 23" x 14" pan is crowded with tubers in assorted sizes.

I have no doubt these are viable tubers which will grow, but I also have no idea what colors they are--but I guarantee they are NOT the usual everyday purple.

Their roots are soaking in Miracle Grow and they are ready for immediate planting, BUT I don't expect then to bloom next spring, in fact it could be two to three years before the they develop enough to bloom. (TLC, a greenhouse & good fertilizer would encourage faster development.)

If you have the patience, this is a good deal when you consider stores around here sell left over dried packaged tubers on sale for $5 each. I will pack ALL OF THESE assorted size tubers into one Medium Size Flat Rate Priority Mail Box. They will be wrapped inside a damp paper towel inside a plastic bag. (the PO doesn't like it when packages leak) and will need to be planted soon upon arrival.

I am asking $5.50 via PayPal to help with postage..Med. Flat Rate PM is over $10. so I will pay the difference.
