Glad to see another survivor. Congratulations God bless Cansurvivor
I just found out last week my mom has breast cancer. :( Shes already beat tonsil cancer and now this. I have hair down to my butt but i made a deal with her, if she fights and loses her hair imma shave my hair and donate it. I think i might tattoo the pink ribbon too.
I knew I was going to have to have chemo and would most likely lose my hair so before that happened, I cut my pretty long hair short so I could donate it to Locks of Love to make a wig for someone else. When even my short hair started quickly thinning, my husband went ahead and shaved my head for me before I had to wake up to find it all on my pillow. Several members of my family shaved their heads in support of me. After the chemo was over and my hair began to grow back, my husband and I designed a pink ribbon tattoo with roses and butterflies surrounding it with the word survivor under it and I had it tattooed over where my right breast used to be which is the one where they first found the cancer.
I said I never would Guerrita68 butI got a ribbon the year after I found out I was stage 3c and went thru chemo then had it improved about 5 years later. Go for it girl
