BEAUTIFUL! I have an 11 year old daughter, and I am just getting her involved in the study of Wicca and Paganism! She's absolutely crazy about mermaids, do you think this would be too heavy for a pendant for her? Do you happen to know the metal it is? If it's pewter, i know it would be heavy. Are they too heavy for earrings for a child? Already a fan, definitely watching!

And your daughter is right... Mermaids rock, lol! :) I think this is the perfect size (and meant to be used as) for a pendant...it was sold as a "pendant" by the distributor. Just a little too big for earrings- at least for an 11 year old, I believe. I wouldn't let my 9 yr old wear them...BUT....I like bigger earrings on myself, and I'd definitely wear them! :) They are just right for a necklace pendant. They are are made of Tibetan Silver, so not too heavy. Hope that helps! :)
