but being that everyones hair is different you may use it on your hair . my hair is very thick and curly so i didnt need much for my curls to hold. plus i started using natural products on my hair like making my own mixtures that worked for my hair

No ... They say use setting lotion I used leave in conditioner and that's it I only would use gel for my hair when its wet . But wound up not using these
